Rose Andree Cosmeus Alerte, age 66, peacefully entered eternal rest on April 11, 2026, in Buford, Georgia.

She was born on June 15, 1959, in Saint-Marc, Haiti. Rose lived a life marked by quiet strength, rich culture, and a gentle peace that touched all who encountered her. Anchored by a deep and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, she carried herself with grace and purpose, allowing her faith to guide how she lived, loved, and cared for others.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children, her son, Viterson Cosmeus, and her daughter, Rose Finette Menard; her beloved daughter-in-law, Aldine Cosmeus; and her cherished grandson, Jamal Cosmeus. She is also lovingly remembered by members of the Marcellus, Jules, Norzil, Cadeau, Owens, Manasse, and Metayer families, along with many relatives and friends whose lives she touched.

Rose will be remembered for her calm and reassuring spirit, her genuine love for people, and her quiet yet courageous heart. She had a special gift for bringing comfort, offering kindness, and forming meaningful connections that left a lasting impression on those around her.
