Rose Nguyen was born in 1945 in Vietnam, into a poor family rich in love and compassion. From a very young age, she learned the meaning of hardship and responsibility. Though her childhood lacked material comforts, it shaped her into a woman of strength, patience, diligence, and deep devotion to family. These early years forged her resilient spirit and selfless heart.
In 1968, she married a pilot in the United States military. In 1971, she gave birth to her only daughter, who became her greatest source of comfort, purpose, and love. That same year, her husband left Vietnam, leaving her to face life’s challenges on her own. From that moment on, she became both mother and father, raising her daughter single-handedly with unwavering determination, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
In 1988, she left Vietnam and immigrated to the United States, beginning a new life with nothing but courage and perseverance. She worked as a factory worker for Dobbs for many decades, quietly and tirelessly laboring until her retirement. She lived a simple, humble life, never seeking anything for herself—her only wish was for her daughter’s safety, happiness, and well-being.
During this past Thanksgiving season, her health suddenly declined due to critically elevated blood sugar levels. Despite her strength and will to endure, her condition did not improve, and she eventually lost the ability to walk as before. In her final days, she prayed quietly that if she could no longer regain her health and independence, she might be allowed to pass peacefully in her sleep.
Her prayer was gently answered. On December 26, 2025, Rose Nguyen passed away peacefully in her sleep—without pain, without struggle—bringing to a close a life marked by sacrifice, perseverance, and boundless love.
Her life stands as a beautiful example of a devoted daughter, a resilient woman, and above all, a loving mother who gave her daughter unconditional love without expectation or reservation. Though she has departed this earthly life, her love, values, and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by light, serenity, and everlasting calm.
