Rupa Doshi, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away at the age of 61 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 17, 1964, in Ahmedabad, India, and lived a life defined by love, faith, and deep connection with others.
She shared a beautiful 42-year marriage with her husband, Atul, built on unwavering love, companionship, and devotion. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and strong values.
Rupa is survived by her husband, Atul; her son, Bunty; her daughter-in-law, Pinky; and her cherished grandchildren, Tania and Kunj. She is also survived by her siblings, Parul, Vipul, and Nirav, along with her extended family of in-laws, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply and remained closely connected with throughout her life.
Twenty-seven years ago, Rupa immigrated to the United States with her family, embracing a new chapter with determination and optimism. Through her hard work across various jobs and business ventures, she helped build a strong foundation for her family.
She was known for her vibrant spirit charming, joyful, and full of life. Rupa had a natural ability to connect with people and made friends effortlessly wherever she went. She was the thread that kept her family connected across the world, always reaching out, bringing people together, and ensuring no distance ever felt too far.
She was the life of every gathering, filling rooms with laughter through her humor, dancing, and singing, and creating lasting memories for all around her.
Rupa had a deep love for travel, especially for pilgrimages that strengthened her spiritual connection. A devoted follower of Vaishnavism and the Pushti Marg tradition, her faith guided her life and gave her strength through every phase.
She was deeply committed to giving back and was actively involved in philanthropic efforts, supporting education and medical care for the underprivileged.
Rupa’s legacy is one of love, faith, generosity, and unity. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
