Susan Forshay Patterson

Susan Forshey Patterson, age 86, of Dunwoody, Georgia and Beaufort, South Carolina, passed away on January 22, 2026. She was born on August 7, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Susan graduated from Withrow High School in Cincinnati and continued her education at Miami University of Ohio. She went on to work as a legal secretary in Chicago, Illinois.

As an avid tennis player, Susan enjoyed an active lifestyle and was a member of Dunwoody Country Club and the Atlanta Athletic Club.

Susan was preceeded in death by her husband David Frank Patterson III.

She is survived by her loving daughters Katy Short (Michael), Kelly Wallo (Joseph), and five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Susan will be remembered for her strength, love she held for her family, passion for travel and her love of animals.
