Vivian Louise Quick

Vivian Louise Quick, age 78, of Dacula, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026.

Born on April 16, 1948, in Moultrie, Georgia, Vivian lived a life defined by faith, love, and unwavering devotion to her family. She attended Albany High School and went on to work for General Motors, where she spent 18 years as a production worker and forklift operator before retiring. A Christian in faith, Vivian carried kindness and compassion with her wherever she went.

Vivian found joy in life's simple blessings. She loved reading, bird watching, and gardening, and found peace in nature and the beauty of God's creation. She especially adored her fur babies and was a devoted fan of both Days of Our Lives and The Young & The Restless.

To those who knew her best, Vivian was generous, loving, caring, and devoted. She made her family feel protected, safe, and deeply loved. Friends and neighbors knew they could always count on her, as she was consistently available to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, or provide understanding during difficult times. Her gentle spirit and selfless heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Vivian was preceded in death by her mother, Lila McGee Janes; her father, Harry Epps; her brothers, Tilford L. Epps, Bobby Epps, and Johnny Epps; her sister, Bertha Green; and her stepfather, Paul Janes.

She is survived by her son, Joe Hatcher (Jennifer); her daughter, Dawn Earp (Todd); her beloved grandchildren, Kim Scamehorn (Ryan), Eric McWaters (Stephanie), Arwen O'Neal (Nick), David Russell (Kala), Scott Russell (Joslyn), Warren Earp (Courtney), Mallory Owens (Steve), and Jessica Earp (Mike); her cherished niece, Vivian Hammock; 18 treasured great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy.

Vivian's legacy of generosity, warmth, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
