Warren Willard Cortiss, Jr.

Warren Willard Cortiss, Jr., affectionately known as Warnie, passed away on January 7, 2026, as a resident of Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was born on November 22, 1961, in McHenry, Illinois.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Willard Cortiss, Sr. and Ruth Cortiss, and his sister, Cathy Gilbert.

He is survived by his loving family: his sister Donna Royall; his brother George Cortiss; his sisters Ruth Steering and her husband Jerry; Carol Terry; and Barbara Watkins.

A graveside service will be held at Gwinnett Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Warren will be remembered by his family and those who knew him as a kind presence and will be dearly missed.
