Adam Lau

It is with great sadness that the family of Adam Chee Lau announces his passing from illness, on Friday, October 5th, 2018, at the age of 56 years. A native of Guangzhou, China, Adam started a new chapter in the United States in 1982. It was there that he met his wife of 30 years, Alicia La. After marrying in 1988, together they raised four daughters and one son. Adam is remembered for his boundless energy, ingenuity, and mechanical handiwork. Along with running his own business, he enjoyed home renovation, travel, and socializing at dim sum. Adam is survived by his loving wife, Alicia, daughters Holly, Keri, Lily, Katie, son Spencer, and by his brothers and sisters Pei Zhen, Pei Lan, Guo Yan, Kwock Hung, Yuk Bing, and Carolyn. Adam will also be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Visitation service will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 2pm to 5pm at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. A celebration of Adam’s life will be held at 11am on Friday, October 12th at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the family plot at Gwinnett Memorial Park.   我們懷著悲痛的心情宣告我們親愛的劉國榮先生於二零一八年十月五日因病逝世，享年56歲。 劉先生生於中國廣州，一九八二年移民美國打拼，開始新生活。劉先生也在這裡遇見了他的妻子，羅麗霞，一起幸福度過了30年，並撫養了一兒四女。 劉先生一生勤勞堅強，聰慧，樂觀開朗，善於待人。在自己辛苦創業之外，劉先生愛好旅行，整修房屋，或者和家人，朋友经常聚集一起享用点心，喝茶，聊天，共度快乐时光！ 劉先生與我們告別了，但他的生命會由親人傳承：妻子麗霞﹔女兒嘉恩，嘉慧，嘉莉和嘉琪﹔兒子家成﹔兄弟姐妹佩珍，佩蘭，國演，國洪，玉冰，和佩琼。相信其他家庭好友也會延續他的精神。   瞻仰儀式現定於星期四 (10/11/2018）下午兩點至五點，以及周五（10/12/2018）上午十點至十一點，在 Wages and Sons Funeral Homes & Crematories 舉行，地址是 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046。隨后周五十一點舉行追悼會，然後移往 Gwinnett Memorial Park 墳場安葬，地址是 925 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
