Born on June 27, 1937 in DeKalb, IL, grew up in Mendota, IL. where he was a track star and still holds the record for the 8/80 relay at Mendota High School. Art was employed at his family-owned pharmacy Goslin Drugs from 1959 until his move to Georgia in 1963. A major portion of his career began in 1972, spanning the transition from Western Electric to AT&T to retirement at Lucent Technologies in November 1998. After retirement, he spent most of his days on the greens working as a golf course ambassador and eating lunch at his beloved Applebee’s in Lawrenceville. In his life, he was an avid bowler and golfer. Above all, Art loved worshiping Jesus at Lilburn Alliance Church, where he was a huge presence. He loved the Lord with all his heart and loved his church family tremendously.

Thinking of you all and praying that God’s love will help comfort your tears.
Our sympathies to the Goslin family. We went to school with Nancy and enjoyed the family business for years. He will be missed by many.
My sympathy to the family. My father and Art’s father were businessmen on opposite ends of the block and were good friends. My dad owned the OK Food Market–his name was Charles (Charlie) Montagnoli. Art was just a year behind my twin sister and me in high school. Wonderful family remembered by us “older” Mendotans.
Sorry for your loss. Prayers for you Julie and your family.
Sorry for your lost loved one. Surely he will be missed by all. May you look to the God of all comfort and hope in his promises . Rev 21:3,4

The Haver & Boecker USA Finance department would like to offer our condolences. We are praying for your family.
