Joyce Mcminn Butler

Joyce McMinn Butler, age 81, of Decatur, GA passed away Monday, February 4, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Bill H. Butler, Sr, and five brothers and sisters. Joyce is survived by her children: Ann Shelby & husband, Sherman; Betty Bookout & husband, Billy; Byron Butler & wife, Sheila; Terri Rawlett & husband, Sonny; four brothers and sisters; eleven grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Joyce was a registered nurse and retired from the Medical Association of Georgia in 1996. She never met a child that wasn't hers. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 8, 2013 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Pastor Howard McMinn officiating. Interment will follow at Dawn Memorial Park in Decatur, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations, in memory of Joyce, may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
