Mildred M. Cape

Mildred Flowers Cape born January 16, 1920 in Stone Mountain passed away January 14, 2013. Mildred worked as a seamstress in Decatur and in her home. Affectionately known as Granny she is survived by her sons , John Cape and wife Luanne, Clermont, GA; Harold Cape and wife Jacqueline, Monroe, GA; grandchildren, Robbie Cape, Jonathan Cape, Kristi Martin, Spencer Cape, Allison Cape and Andrew Cape great grandchildren, Evalyn Cape, Kennedy Martin and William Cape and sister in law Ellene Flowers. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all her Poplar Springs neighbors and especially Jane Taylor who was such a compassionate caregiver during the past year. Funeral Services will be held Thursday January 17, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Wages and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Taylor and Rev. Ken Magness officiating. Burial Melwood Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or those desiring may make donations in her memory to Stone Mountain First Baptist church. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel 770-469-9811.
