James T. Darcy, Jr.

James Thomas Darcy Jr., passed away at his residence in Lawrenceville, Georgia on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the age of 87. James is predeceased by his loving wife, Evelyn Kuhlman Darcy, and his parents, James T. Darcy Sr. and Elizabeth Owens Darcy. James and Evelyn were married in Farmingdale, NY on September 3, 1950 and lived in West Islip, NY until their retirement in 1988. They then lived in Anderson, South Carolina until Evelyn's passing in 2007. James will be lovingly remembered by his five sons and their families, James Darcy of Kennesaw, Georgia; Daniel Darcy of Port Jefferson, New York; Paul Darcy of Lawrenceville, Georgia; David Darcy of Dacula, Georgia and William Darcy of Marietta, Georgia. James is also survived by his two brothers, Arthur Darcy of Bay Shore, New York; and Francis Darcy of Salisbury, Maryland. James Pop will be greatly missed by his fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. James was an avid golfer and respected baseball coach while working as paymaster for Republic Aviation in Farmingdale, NY for twenty years followed by his ownership of J.D. Business Forms for fifteen years. The visitation will be held at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, Georgia on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with a mass at 11:00 am, Monday, June 3, 2013.
