Daryl William Sack

Daryl William Sack, 24, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Born May 31, 1994, in Glendale, AZ to Kevin and Susan (Burkhart) Sack, he grew up in Lawrenceville, GA. Daryl graduated from Peachtree Ridge High in 2012, attended both Darton College and Georgia Gwinnett College. He was passionate about soccer and a talented goalkeeper; he played for the Atlanta Fire United Soccer Association for twelve years and played one year of competitive soccer for Darton College. Daryl had a larger than life personality, a charismatic free-spirit who fiercely loved his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Susan Sack of Lawrenceville, GA, his sister Lauren Sack and her fiancé Jeff Montgomery of Marietta, GA, his grandfather Robert Burkhart of Lawrenceville, GA, his grandmother Barbara Courtney of Albuquerque, NM and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Most recently, he lived in Buford, GA with his girlfriend Myra McKenzie and her family and worked in the Gwinnett community. A memorial service will celebrate Daryl’s life at 6 PM, Friday, August 3, 2018 at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. The family is requesting memorial donations to a Peachtree Ridge High School soccer scholarship that has been set up in Daryl’s honor.
