Shelton DeGarmo, age 67, of Conyers, died January 12, 2011. Shelton was a member of Philologia Masonic Lodge # 178 F. & A.M., Yaarab Shrine, Potentate Escort, Royal Order of Jesters, # 91 and the Bilikin Club. He is survived by his wife, Audrey DeGarmo, children, Chris DeGarmo, Craig DeGarmo, Christy Kill, Joseph Harvey and Diana DeGarmo, brothers, Larry DeGarmo & wife Darline, Eddie DeGarmo & wife Susan, Mike DeGarmo & wife Wanda, several aunts, uncles & cousins. Funeral Services will be held Friday January 14, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. Interment will be in Piggot, Arkansas. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Yaarab Shrine Hospital Fund 400 Ponce de Leon Avenue Atlanta, GA 30308.

We are so sorry to hear of Shelton’s passing. He was a great noble and friend. Shelton made everyone fell special when they were in his presence. He touched so many lives. He will be truly missed.

I’ll always remember the Super 1 picnics. Shelton was a wonderful man, and fun to be around. My heart goes out to Audrey, Craig, Chris, Diana. You are in my prayers. May God be with you all at this time of need. God Bless each of you.

This passing is definitely one which touches us here on this earth. I know exactly what you are going through 19 months to the very day. Bless your heart. My heart breaks for you.

We remember Shelton as a child. Always the most organized, most ambitious and most hard working of all of us We didn’t see enough of him in California. Now he is being welcomed by his Mom and Dad. Clifton probably picked up his spirit in a fast Buick.
Audrey, this is so sad. Shelton was not only generous and giving, he was also so knowledgeable and such a craftsman. My thoughts are with you and your family. Please call if you need anything.

So sad to hear of Shelton’s passing. He was a nice man with lots of great stories and wit. I was blessed to meet him and his wife Audry at Atlanta Motor Speedway a few years ago. He will be sadly missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
