Shelton DeGarmo, age 67, of Conyers, died January 12, 2011. Shelton was a member of Philologia Masonic Lodge # 178 F. & A.M., Yaarab Shrine, Potentate Escort, Royal Order of Jesters, # 91 and the Bilikin Club. He is survived by his wife, Audrey DeGarmo, children, Chris DeGarmo, Craig DeGarmo, Christy Kill, Joseph Harvey and Diana DeGarmo, brothers, Larry DeGarmo & wife Darline, Eddie DeGarmo & wife Susan, Mike DeGarmo & wife Wanda, several aunts, uncles & cousins. Funeral Services will be held Friday January 14, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. Interment will be in Piggot, Arkansas. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Yaarab Shrine Hospital Fund 400 Ponce de Leon Avenue Atlanta, GA 30308.

  3. We are so sorry to hear of Shelton’s passing. He was a great noble and friend. Shelton made everyone fell special when they were in his presence. He touched so many lives. He will be truly missed.

    We remember Shelton as a child. Always the most organized, most ambitious and most hard working of all of us We didn’t see enough of him in California. Now he is being welcomed by his Mom and Dad. Clifton probably picked up his spirit in a fast Buick.

  18. So sad to hear of Shelton’s passing. He was a nice man with lots of great stories and wit. I was blessed to meet him and his wife Audry at Atlanta Motor Speedway a few years ago. He will be sadly missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
