Dorothy (Dot) Janice Goodwin

Dorothy (Dot) Janice Goodwin, age 87, of Hoschton, GA peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Funeral services for Dot will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Wages and Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Burial will follow at Gwinnet Memorial Park. The family will gather with friends on Saturday, July 9 ^th , 2022 from 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born November 28, 1934, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late George Threlkeld and the late Blanche Pittman Threlkeld; also preceding Dot is her husband Elmer Goodwin and brothers, Norman Threlkeld and Marion Threlkeld. Dot was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Dot loved to travel and play cards. Times dearest to Dot’s heart were the moments she spent with her family and her dogs.

Dot is survived by her children David Goodwin, Daniel Goodwin and wife Lisa, Christy Pavlick, and Darlene Sutton; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. On-line condolences may be expressed at www.wagesandsons.com.
