Gurnie Randall Hopper

Gurnie Randall Hopper, age 86, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, also known as Pop, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Nettie Sue Hopper. He is survived by son Larry Randall Hopper, daughter Terri Sue Jackson and husband Randall; grandchildren, Tony Jackson and wife Elizabeth, Wesley Jackson, Cody Jackson, Katie Sue Jackson, and Ashlee Hopper; great- grandchildren, James Jackson, Colton Hopper, and Wyatt Jackson; brother, Benny Hopper and wife Kathie; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Little and husband David; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Howard University (now Samford University) with a degree in business. He retired from General Motors after 37 years of service. He was a private pilot for over 60 years, and was dearly loved by his family and friends.
