Harriett Farris Boozer

Mrs. Harriett Farris Boozer of Cumming, Georgia died Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was the widow of George W. Boozer, Jr. who died four years ago. They had no children. Harriett and George were happily married for 62 years. They are survived by several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Harriett was an avid photographer, beginning with her little Brownie camera at age 12 and advancing to high speed film in the 1990’s. Harriett attended Girl’s High in Atlanta. She was a determined genealogist and produced two genealogical books between 1976 and 1996: “FARRIS, WELLS, KELTNER, WYNNE, RUSSELL, ROBERTS Genealogy” and “PROU, BENSON, BERRY, PRINCE, SAMMONS, WYNNE, Genealogy”, both are in the Library of Congress. Services for Harriett Boozer will be held Sunday afternoon, March 26th at 2:00 pm at the Wages and Sons Funeral Home located at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
