Jack Milburn Price Mr.

Jack Milburn Price, age 83, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at home with his family and friends at his side. Jack influenced everyone who knew him with his caring and friendly way. He was a pilot and master mechanic who built his own airplane. He was a craftsman and could repair anything. he enjoyed sharing memories of his experience working on the Alaska railroad right after high school. He was proud of his service to his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Missouri. He loved God and his “Joy” Sunday School class at the United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville. Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara (“Willie”); son, Michael & wife, Kelly; granddaughter, Meredith; grandson, Tyler; sister, Joy Belcher; and nieces & nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville with Rev. Sheri Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memory of Jack, to the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville Gibson Wing or the American Cancer Society.
