    Great guy and great athlete! So sorry to hear about his passing.

  3. Jake and I became friends over the years. I spent time with Jake, his Mother, Sister and her husband in NYC in 2011 when he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. We had a great 3 day was. Jake was one of a kind. Super great but once you got to know him. He will be missed. Gone but never forgotten. RIP old friend.

  4. CandleImageWe were lucky enough to meet Jake in Vegas. He was incredibly gracious and spent time with us telling us great old Dolphins stories and making us feel like we were lifelong friends. It was truly an experience of a lifetime. We were so sorry to hear of his passing but will be forever grateful we got to know such a humble, funny and kind man. R.I.P. Jake, the original #13. You will be missed.
