John Edward Rudisill, age 87, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away on January 16, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on February 8, 1936, in Eastanollee, Georgia, John’s life was a celebration of love and connection.

A skilled printer, John dedicated his professional life to his craft, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. A graduate of Southwest Dekalb High School in 1955, he carried his commitment to excellence into his military service. John served in the Army 168th and was recognized with a Good Conduct Medal for his dedication and service to his country.

A man of faith, John was a devoted Methodist. His spiritual beliefs provided him with strength and guidance throughout his life’s journey. John found solace and joy in the simple pleasures, including fishing, playing horseshoes, and tackling challenging puzzles.

Known for his infectious sense of humor and a heartwarming goofiness, John was a friend to everyone he met. His ability to make people laugh and put smiles on their faces created a lasting legacy of warmth and connection. Described as funny, caring, goofy, and silly, John’s presence brightened the lives of those around him.

John is survived by his son, William (Bill) John Rudisill of Grayson, GA, former spouse and forever friend, Becky Rudisill, his cherished grandchildren: Ansley Rudisill of Harriman, TN, Evan Rudisill of Grayson, GA, Holly Rudisill of Grayson, GA, and great-granddaughter Tyler Kate of Harriman, TN.

A visitation to celebrate John Edward Rudisill’s life will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel.

May John Edward Rudisill rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the laughter and love he shared with everyone he touched.
