John "Jack" Edward Ross, Jr.

John "Jack" Edward Ross, age 55, of Lawrenceville passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. He was born on August 11, 1961 in Steubenville, Ohio. Jack served 4 years in the US Army. He moved to Atlanta in 1984, where he met the love of his life, Linda. They were married October 25, 1990. Shelby joined their family in 2006. Jack worked in the hospitality industry and never met a stranger. He was “A huge Buckeye fan", with a great sense of humor. He loved life and gave all he had to his family and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward, Sr. and Patricia Mercer. Survivors are his loving wife, Linda B. Ross; sister, Jan Bradley; sister, Teresa (Donald) Tharp; brother, Mark (Tammy) Ross; sister in law, Mary D. Barnhill; brother in law, Claude Barnhill; mother in law, Eva Jacobs and a host of nephews and cousins. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for your love and support at this time. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Pastor Tad Savoy of Victory World Church officiating.
