Joseph Franklin Peace

Joseph Franklin Peace, 81, of Lawrenceville GA, passed away on Wednesday November 17, 2014 in Decatur, GA. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 21st from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Wages & Sons Funeral Home Stone Mountain Chapel located at 1040 Main St., Stone Mountain, GA 30083. Joe was born in Anniston, AL on April 24, 1933. He was a co-owner of Trio Transportation and worked in the transportation industry for many years. Joe is survived by his two sons Charlie Peace and Joe Peace; his daughter Nancy Hopkins; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 siblings, Catherine Christian, Vera Duggar, Charles Peace, and Mildred Ryder. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Emory University Hospital in Decatur and to Hospice at Emory for their outstanding care and support in his final days.
