I am so very sorry to hear this! I enjoyed working with Laura, and especially enjoyed having the privilege of being Abby’s fifth-grade teacher. Laura and Violet were such awesome room moms! You are all in my prayers. Sending love to you from North Carolina.
As a child I grew up with Laura and Mitchell, and as we grew older, my daughter and Abby were good friends. Kurt, Abby, Pete, Violet and Mitchell, we are praying for you! . She will definitely be missed.

As a friend of Stephanie Wayland, I share your grief at the passing of Laura.
Abbey, the relationship that you have with your mother will be with you for the rest of your life. It is a special treasure you will guard in your heart. This is a difficult time for you with many milestones in your life ahead that you will miss sharing with her. The contributions that your mother made in your life will come to you again and again in the coming moments, days and years to encourage, guide, and strengthen you.
Kurt, only those who have lost a spouse truly understand the depth of your sorrow. We lift you up in prayer.
Pete and Violet, one of the most difficult things for parents is to experience the death of a son or daughter. This is the third time that you are going through this valley. These are incredible losses for you.
May you experience the power of the presence of the Lord at this time. He understands all of your sorrow and grief, and is always there to comfort.
Violet and Pete, I Am So Sorry To Hear About The Passing Of Laura, Please Know That You All Are In Our Thoughts And Prayers, God Bless You All, Love,
Betty, Buddy and Reggie McDaniel
Laura was so sweet and kind after Kevin’s passing. She told me stories of them growing up together and the fun she and Mitchell and Kevin had together. I pray for Kurt, Abby, Violet, Pete and Mitchell through this time. May God hold you all in His arms and grant you peace and comfort as only He can.

Kurt/Abby – so sorry for you loss! Love your family way back from Peachtree Pride days. If there is anything you need please let me know. Abby, you have always been an example that other kids are held to the last number of years….’I wish that kid acted more like Abby Miller, remember her?’ Certainly can speak for Coach John H and John T – Ryan
I was a business partner with Laura’s dad, Pete. Laura’s mom, Violet, ran the office. Laura came to the office frequently after school. She always had a smile and kind words. We talked about her day and the fun things she was doing. I miss that. God bless the Mobleys and the Millers. I know the Lord blessed Laura’s life and her memory will always be with me. I only met Abby when she was too little to remember me. I saw how much she was loved and doted on by the family. I am better off for knowing these gentle people.
I am so very sorry to hear about Laura’s passing. I taught at Britt Ele when she worked there and I also was a teacher at Gwin Oaks Ele when she was a parent volunteer there and she also stopped in my room to talk to the kids . She had the biggest heart for the children. She was a deeply caring person and she will be missed by all. Prayers for Kurt, Abbey, her parents, other family and friends ❤️????❤️
