Sherie H. Lynn

LYNN, Sherie Honea, age 56, formerly of Braselton, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family at St. Mary's Hospice House in Athens, GA on March 3, 2012. Sherie was born August 7, 1955 in Atlanta, Georgia, one of four children, to Joseph and Edna Honea. Her life was dedicated to raising her three sons. She courageously and relentlessly fought against breast cancer from 2005 until the Good Lord gently called her home. She may have had cancer, but cancer never had her. Sherie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Danielle Whigham of Dacula, her son, Joseph Whigham of Atlanta, her son Brandon Whigham of Braselton, and granddaughter Lacey Whigham of Gainesville. She's also survived by her siblings, Anita Nettles of Flowery Branch, Steve Honea of St. Simons Island, and Carol Ann Honea of Atlanta. A memorial service will be held at Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church 5152 Braselton Highway, Hoschton, GA 30548 on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow.
