Mary Stiller Rosas, 88, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, after an extended illness.
Mary was born on August 19, 1936, in Rowan County, North Carolina. She grew up in Rockwell, North Carolina and graduated from Rockwell High School. After graduation, she moved to Charlotte where she met her husband Fred Rosas.
Fred and Mary were married for 60 years. With Fred serving active duty in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years, they lived at various locations including Paris, France; El Paso, Texas; Guatemala City, Guatemala; Huntsville, Alabama; and Augusta, Georgia. Fred and Mary retired in Augusta and later moved to Lawrenceville.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Fred, her mother Georgia Palmer Kluttz, her brother Robert Stiller and her sister Norma Kester. She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Pamela R. (Barry) Inman of Acworth, Georgia, and Mrs. Leslie R. (Ken) Sibert of Milledgeville, Georgia; her son, Fredrick Rosas of Lawrenceville; and her grandchildren Payne and Jackson Inman and Jessica and Chandler Sibert.
Mary was a bright spot wherever she was and enjoyed life and celebrations. She loved to travel, cherished her family and dedicated her life to taking care of her son who has Cerebral palsy.
A private family service will be held. She will join her husband Fred at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
My sincere sympathies on the loss of your mom, mother-in-law, and grandma. She’s now in perfect health and in perfect peace, and reunited with her husband.
Much comfort and God’s grace to all,
Shelley
