Myrtice Linda Walker, age 67, died peacefully on Wednesday September 23rd, 2015, at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Linda is survived by her husband, Richard, of Snellville; her daughter, Wendy Walker, of Snellville; her daughter, Kim Walker, of Alpharetta; and her son Richie Walker, also of Snellville. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lola Jones, of Lithonia; and her father; Casey Jones, of Stone Mountain. Linda was an amazing Wife, Mama, and Grandma. She married the love of her life, Richard, in 1965 and had three children together: Wendy, Kim, and Richie. Through Richie she was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren that she adored beyond measure: Cody, Lexi, and Nathan Walker. She loved spending time with her family more than anything. She and Richard took many wonderful trips to the Blue Ridge Mountains in the last few years, enjoying the beauty and peace they found there. She will always be remembered for her kindness, her patience, and her ability to love people in spite of their flaws. A funeral is scheduled for 2:00pm Saturday, September 26th, at Wages & Sons Funeral Home in Stone Mountain, Georgia, preceded by a visitation from 11:00am until 2:00pm. Please join us in celebrating Linda’s life. Flowers can be sent to Wages & Sons Funeral Home in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

  4. My heartfelt sympathy for all the family and the enormous number of friends Linda had. I am honored to have known her and worked with her. She taught me alot, and was a very beautiful person. Heaven has a very special angel, sitting with Jesus now. I wish I could hear the angels sing when she entered, It must have been beautiful, because she was so beautiful with such a good heart. You will be missed.
