Reynolds, Connie Virginia Nutt Connie was born on February 11, 1944, in Atlanta, GA at Crawford Long Hospital. She went to Heaven to be with the Lord on August 19, 2012, at Ashton Hall Senior Living in Lawrenceville, GA, after having a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. Connie was the daughter of Minnie Ruth King and Charlie Earl Mitchell, both deceased. She was a Christian wife and loving mother for 55 years! She retired from The Department of Administrative Services DOAS with the State of Georgia in 1998 after many years of faithful service. She is survived by her husband, William Carl Reynolds, Sr., of Newnan; her three daughters: Rhonda Pennington of Loganville, Rebecca Reid and husband, Charles Dana of Snellville, and Rose Jinks and husband, Scott of Cumming; three step-children: Kristi Ozmore and husband, Vince of Newnan, William Carl Reynolds, Jr. of Acworth and Daryl Reynolds of Acworth; one sister, deceased Juanita Mauldin and husband, Leonard of Chamblee; and three brothers: Earl Mitchell and wife, Matilda of Alpharetta, Douglas Mitchell and wife, Patsy of Suwanee, and Sam Mitchell and wife, Susan of Cumming. Connie is also survived by six grandchildren: Jeffrey Scott Pennington, Jr. of Atlanta, Jessica Pennington of Loganville, Haley Reid of Snellville, Chas Reid of Snellville, Taylor Jinks of Cumming, and Madison Jinks of Cumming. She is also survived by nine nieces and four nephews: Donna Wine of Sanford, FL, Angela Hicks of Suwanee, Dawn King of Suwanee, Lydia Scialabba of Trabuco Canyon, CA, SuSu Scialabba of Park Ridge, IL, and Jennifer Goodman of Dallas, TX, Skeet Mitchell of Hoschton, Billy Mitchell of Alpharetta, and Pete Mitchell of Suwanee, Phyllis Mauldin deceased of Chamblee, Lisa Mauldin of Chamblee, Cheryl Hardin of Marietta and Len Mauldin of Chamblee, along with nine great nieces, five great nephews, and three step-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will follow at Meriwether Memory Gardens Cemetery, Manchester, GA 31816, 1-706-846-8515. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
