Sara Smith Benefield

Sara Smith Benefield of Lawrenceville passed away on November 30, 2017 peacefully at her home at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband JW Benefield, parents, Otho and Netta Smith, sister, Hildred Bennett and son in law Jim Cooper. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Cooper of Lawrenceville, Ann and her husband Randy Davis of Dacula, grandson Justin and his wife Madi Davis of Dallas Ga. Brothers, Jimmy Smith of Tucker, Kenon Smith of Dacula, Roger and his wife Jean Smith of Dacula and sister Janice Phillips of Monroe and several nieces and nephews. She was a loyal member of Bethesda United Methodist Church for over 60 years and loved the Bethesda community. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend to many. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Pastor Dana Overton-Garrett officiating.
