Shirley Tutney Scott

Shirley Reagin Scott, age 82, of Lithonia, GA passed away Monday, February 6, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Newton Scott, Sr; sister, Linda Delay; and brother, Neil Reagin. Shirley is survived by her son, Tim Scott of Dalton; daughter, Susan Harrisi of London, England; son, Ira Newton "Scotty" Scott, Jr. of Lawrenceville; sisters, Sue Cheek, Ernestine "Teen" Roberts, Musette Reagin, and Sybil Gilley; grandchildren, Sheryl Twitty and Christy Scott; and great grandchildren, Calista and Lucien Twitty. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Prospect United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Wadley, Rev. Eddie Herring & Rev. Grady Wigley officiating with interment following at the church cemetery. Mrs. Scott will lie in state beginning at 1:30.
