Shonnell Yvusha Vann-Kablan, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away on July 12, 2024, in Lawrenceville, GA, just one day shy of her 47th birthday. She was born on July 13, 1977, in Portsmouth, VA.

Shonnell was known for her infectious laughter, warm smile, and free-spirited nature. She had a heart of gold, always willing to help others and known for her generosity. Her determination and strong work ethic were evident throughout her life, as she pursued her dreams and lived each day to the fullest.

Family meant everything to Shonnell, and she cherished the time spent with her loved ones. She was a devoted member of the Baptist faith, finding solace and strength in her beliefs.

Shonnell was preceded in death by her loving mother, Mary Ann Vann and her Grandfather, Clarence Cannon. She is survived by her cherished daughter, Eunik Vann; dear sisters Maxine, Winter, and Claracina Vann; loving grandmother Eunice Cannon and a host of uncles/aunts, cousins, and nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind bonus children Giselle Romero Castro and Francisco Romero Castro, whom she embraced as her own.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2024. A funeral service to celebrate Shonnell’s life will take place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2024. Both services will be held at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway Lawrenceville, GA 30046 where friends and family will come together to honor and remember the beautiful life of Shonnell Yvusha Vann-Kablan.

Shonnell will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
