Stanley Louis Seaman

Seaman, Stanley L., age 86, of Stone Mountain, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016. A native of Long Island, New York, he served in the United States Navy and then retired from Grumman Aerospace where he worked for nearly 40 years. Stanley is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, and sister Pamela Faw. He is survived by his brother-in-law Everett Faw of Roswell; niece Kathie Floyd (Marshall) of Dawsonville; nephews Brian Faw (Martha) of Sugar Hill and Jonathan Faw (Leslie) of Roswell; sisters-in-law Claire Hubschman of Rockledge, FL; Marjorie Scalzo (Carmen) of New Hartford, NY; Mary Donaty of Clinton, WA; and beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Stanley enjoyed telling stories of his naval service and career at Grumman, the highlight of which was meeting his wife through a company bowling league. In retirement, Stanley was a welcoming face and active resident of Park Springs Retirement Community. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2016 at 11am at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
