Suzanne M. Welch

Suzanne M. Welch (formerly Suzanne M. Cooper), age 81, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016. A longtime resident of Lawrenceville, Suzanne was born in Jefferson to the late Henry A. and Frances Hanson Merrill. She leaves behind her devoted husband Ronnie Welch; three children, Elaine Ward, Eric Eaton, and Kevin Eaton; a brother, Henry A. Merrill, Jr; other relatives and friends; and her kitty, Shirley. She was a member of Israel Baptist Church in Atlanta. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday May 28, 2016 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Jefferson, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA, 770-277-4550. Flowers are welcome.
