  4. July 18, 2020
Jane and family. I don’t know why I didn’t know Jerry was sick. I am so sorry for you and the family. But he is in the arms of God now and has been whole. No pain. No tears.
Jane. My health is not the best, but if you need me you have only to call.
I know his presence will be missed at the church and especially the family.
    Love and blessings
    Mae and James Buice

  5. Jerry was my brother in law and I also mourn the loss of this wonderful man.
I was asked to help write Jerry’s obituary and it was not my intention to give misleading facts. Anyone who knew Jerry is aware Justin Pritchett was not Jerry’s biological son. Jerry CHOSE to raise Justin from a very early age as his own child. They both had the LOVE and BOND a parent has with a child and adoption wasn’t an issue to either of them. Brent and Kelly are the only biological children of Jerry.
The obit also contained information about his grandchildren, four were biological and Jerry CHOSE to be a grandfather to the remaining four. All his great grandchildren are biological. I hope this dispels any misconceptions I caused.

  6. To Debra Bowers.
If you were the one to help write the obituary you should have done little more background check before you proceeded with the final print. Jerry was my Dad. And only had TWO children. The names were BRENT and KELLY . And seeing that you were ask to help with this obituary may I ask if you were ask to help with pulling the life support from my Dad and not even calling to tell the real kids it was going to be done. Didn’t even get to say my goodbye to my dad from a disrupt family as yours. Hope one day the payback is done
