Timothy Edward Hardy

Timothy Edward Hardy, a beloved resident of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away peacefully. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Timothy spent his early years in the vibrant culture of his birthplace before moving to Georgia, where he made a lasting impact on his community.

A proud alumnus of Tucker High School, Timothy was known for his dedication and hard work. He enjoyed a fulfilling career at Gwinnett Sanitation and Amerivap before retiring. In retirement, he cherished his time at the Gwinnett Country Club, where his passion for golf and family gatherings by the pool were well-known.

Timothy was a devoted member of 12 Stone Church, where his faith and fellowship were a source of strength and comfort. He is preceded in death by his father, Olin Hardy; his mother, Bunny Hardy; and his grandson, Devin Herron.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Beth Hardy; his children, Dawn Pickens, Amanda Herron (Boo), and Jason Pickens; and his cherished grandchildren, Bryson, Hannah, Blake, Alexis, Jaxson, and Taylar. He is also survived by his brother, Daniel Hardy (Norma); his sister, Barbara Galvin; and his in-laws: Richard and Linda Westphal, James and Debra Westphal, Melissa and Thomas McCart, Gail and James Sherman, Laurie and Charles Horsley, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A visitation to honor Timothy’s life will be held from 12-2 PM at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046, with a service to follow at 2 PM. His memory will be forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.
