recent resident of Pruitt Rehabilitation home in Lilburn for the past 2 l/2 years she loved and gleefully
enjoyed the many residents and nurses…with laughter and conversations. Prior to that she visited the
bowling alley in Lilburn every Tuesday night and Thursday afternoon when many of the bowlers
welcomed her with loving hugs. Never having participated in sports in her young days she tried her hand at bowling two times and surprised all present with her talent. A member of Gwinnett County
Senior Olympics games organization she participated in competitive sports such as croquet, horseshoes, ping pong, and shuffleboard where she won gold and silver medals in her age category. She had many friends in the organization.
She will be missed by all who knew her and her many friends and relatives. She traveled to many parts
of Gwinnett County with her friend Irene to visit other friends. Her life was rich in her goodness and
laughter. She briefly worked at Channel 57 TV station, and Kroger’s food store in Norcross. She handled
return books at a local school library for a brief time.
She visited in Commerce, GA every Thanksgiving, and always told the story of going there and enjoying
the day in spite of one time having a car problem with a flat tire. Her last good dinner in April with her
friends Stand and Robin she classified as one of her best dinners ever.
She leaves her Mother Jeannette, son Derek, brother Bhoj and his wife Arlyn, her sister Marcie and brother Mehendra, and her sister Jenny.
