Shirley Whitehead

A true proverbial woman, Shirley Chadwick Whitehead joined her heavenly family on September 10, 2013. Virtuous, strong, and loving, Shirley always put the needs of others before her own. Shirley leaves behind her husband of more than 51 years, Charles Whitehead; two daughters, Charlene K. Whitehead of Lawrenceville and Carla Whitehead Youmans and her husband Christopher Youmans of Dacula; as well as one very special grandson, Charles Guerry Youmans. She is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Williams of Dacula and Violet Bentley of Snellville, as well as several nieces, nephews and close friends. Shirley will be deeply missed by all who know her, but we take comfort knowing that she is walking Heaven's streets of gold. The funeral service will be held Saturday September 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating.
