Shirley Lee Woodruff

Shirley Lee Woodruff died peacefully on October 9, 2013. She was born on November 26, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was predeceased by her parents, Karl Frank Beisel and Virginia Willard Beisel; and by her husband, Sam Harrison Woodruff. Sam and Shirley were married on June 18, 1949. Shirley was a loving and proud wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Harrison Woodruff Virginia Clarkson and Roger Paul Woodruff Debra Matias, and by her daughter, Janet Woodruff Starkweather Gregory Allen; her grandchildren, Kyle Hardin Woodruff Katheryn Cella, Megan Woodruff Byerly Brandon, Jacob Allen Starkweather, Dustin Paul Woodruff, Tyler Lee Starkweather, Caileigh Cambria Woodruff; and her great-granddaugher, Chloe London Turner. A private family service is planned for a later date. The family would like to thank Exclusive In-House Care, Interim Health Care Hospice, and Mesun Hospice for their care.
