Albert Lester Jacob Scott

Albert Lester Jacob Scott (Jacob), 40, of Stone Mountain, Georgia passed away on November 30, 2019. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 31, 1979 to Albert Lester Scott II and Karen Lorane Grosse, he was a longtime resident of Stone Mountain and worked as a landscaper. He was an advocate for local music and known as one of Atlanta’s finest drummers.

Jacob always had an infectious laughter and knew the right music for every moment. He was the embodiment of forgiveness and love, making you feel special and worth the effort. Thinking of him brings a pure sense of love, mercy and forgiveness. His vibrations will be forever felt in the ripples of time.

Survivors include his wife, Kristin E. Scott; daughters, Delaney Scott, Bella Scott, Zoe Kirkland, Autumn Scott; Sons, Josiah Scott, Daniel Kirkland; Parents, Lester & Carla Scott, its Karen Lauder; Sister, Sandi Lee; Brothers, Mark James Lauder; Grandfather, Albert Scott.

A celebration of life will be held at Stone Mountain Park at the Gristmill Pavilion on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
