Albert Jiles Parham, age 43, of Duluth, Georgia, passed into the loving presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Born on May 9, 1982, in Albany, Georgia, Bert was the beloved son of Jiles and Lynn Parham.
Bert was a devoted husband to his wife, Sarah Parham, and a deeply loving father to their three beautiful children: Temperance (16), Joseph (14), and Ezekiel (12). His family was the greatest joy of his life, and he poured his heart into loving, leading, and encouraging them with faith, kindness, and laughter.
Bert was the owner of CX Media, a business that perfectly reflected who he was—combining his passion for photography with his genuine love for building meaningful relationships. Through his work, Bert didn’t just capture images; he captured people’s stories, making everyone he encountered feel seen, valued, and known.
He was greatly loved by all who knew him. Bert carried a joy that was truly contagious—one that flowed directly from his deep and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ. His faith was not only something he spoke about, but something he lived out daily. He loved others exceptionally well, extending grace, encouragement, and compassion wherever he went. Bert’s life was a reflection of Christ’s love, and his impact will continue to be felt through the countless lives he touched.
Bert is preceded in death by grandparents and brother, Bradley Parham. Bert is survived by his loving wife and children; his parents, Jiles and Lynn Parham; his brother, Josh Parham, and wife Brittany, and their sons Isaac and James; and his sister, Emily McCalvin, and husband Aaron, and their children Gage, Rylee, Elisha, and Evelyn, nephew Grant Parham and in laws who loved him dearly. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and a community forever changed by his presence.
Though deeply missed, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and take comfort knowing that Bert is now whole, healed, and home—hearing the words he lived for: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” His legacy of faith, love, and joy will live on through his family and all who were blessed to know him.
