Anais Charlyn "Muffet" Kincaid

Anais Charlyn “Muffet” Kincaid of Lithonia passed away peacefully on December 18, 2022. Muffet was born on January 7, 1950 in Atlanta to Anais Chambers “Bunt” Kincaid and William Joseph Kincaid.

A native Atlantan, raised in Buckhead, she attended Garden Hills Elementary. Muffet graduated from North Fulton High School, Class of 1968, where she was active in many extracurricular activities, including her favorite, North Fulton’s Drill Team. She was respected and very well-liked by her peers …”a beautiful person inside and out.”

Muffet was chosen to be a member of Rich’s Teen Board, a huge honor at that time.

Muffet was a 1972 graduate of the University of Georgia. She was a loyal DAWG fan to the very end.

In a public service career she loved dearly, Muffet brought joy to so many. Her smile and cheerful friendliness endeared her to everyone.

Once a devoted boater and certified scuba diver, Muffet and Duke enjoyed traveling and experiencing new adventures. Some of her favorite trips with Duke included their much loved Aunt Leona Rhodes.

Muffet is predeceased by her parents Anais Chambers “Bunt” Kincaid and William Joseph Kincaid, her brother William Joseph Kincaid II and her nephew William Joseph Kincaid Ill.

She is survived by her beloved partner of 31 years, Stephen “Duke” Dukeman, her brother, Greg Kincaid (Teresa), and her nephew, Michael Kincaid (Katie), as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Muffet will be greatly missed by many.
