Arlene Lester Hamilton

Arlene Marie (Lester) Hamilton, 89, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2016. She was born in Johnson City, New York on August 30, 1927 but spent most of her life in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She enjoyed her last five years at Park Springs Retirement Community. Our mother married our father, Dewey Hamilton, in 1946, and they enjoyed 50 years together. They raised four children: Sandy Fey (husband, Marc), David (deceased, wife, Duangsuda), Chip and Karen (husband, Walter). There are seven grandchildren: Erika, Marshall, Alyssa, Zachary, Olivia (deceased), Jacob and Caleb and one great-grandchild, Luke. A graveside service will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Garden, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA, on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to any breast cancer organization.
