Barbara Anderson

Barbara Anderson, age 77, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2026. Born on September 12, 1949, in Hamilton, Georgia, to Jack Thomas Tumlin and Ruth Chappelear Tumlin, Barbara lived a life rich in family, devotion, and cherished memories.

For 34 years, Barbara shared a wonderful life with her beloved husband, the late Wesley Anderson, residing in Stone Mountain, Georgia, where they built a home filled with warmth and love. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who found joy in spending time with her family.

Barbara leaves behind a deeply devoted family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her sisters Jane McCartney (David) and Evelyn Lambert (Simon); her son Jason Minor (AmberLee); her daughter Jennifer Ballard (Archie); her son Wesley Anderson (Tammy); her son Bradley Anderson (Patti); her grandchildren Caleb (Amelia) , Colin, Madox, Kayla, Arabella, Murphy, Preston, Parker, Bailey and Jacob; and her great granddaughter Daisy along with cherished nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Wages & Sons Funeral Home in Stone Mountain, GA, on Friday, November 6th. Family will receive visitors from 1pm to 2pm, with the service beginning at 2pm. Gravesite services will be immediately following at Melwood Cemetery nearby.
