Barbara Gale Genualdi

Barbara Genualdi passed away on March 4, 2022 in Atlanta, GA after a long, but courageous battle with cancer.  She was 73 years old.  Through everything, she fought tenaciously and never let any suffering show to those around her.  She focused on the positives, as she did with all things in a very fruitful and blessed life.

Barbara spent her life working in several careers in order to provide all she could for her family.  She attended Purdue University and was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority.  As well rounded a person as you could ever meet, Barbara loved intellectual conversations, sports, art and this country.  Above all, Barbara was a kind person.  Her actions and words proved this fact time and time again.  She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Phillip and her parents, William and Barbara Angrick.  She is survived by her brother Bill, son Marc, daughter Helen, daughter-in-law Kelly, grandson Dylan and granddaughter Alex.

Barbara was born in Michigan City, Indiana on December 15, 1948.  She will be interred with her husband Phillip with full military honors at the National Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Canton, Georgia on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 3:00 PM EDT with a celebration of her life immediately following the memorial service.
