Benjamin Kenneth (Mayer) delGiudice born December 18th 1973 in Rutland Vermont, son of Diana E. Reed Crosby delGiudice and William F. delGiudice of Kennebunk Maine. Survived by Donald J. Mayer of Lindale, Georgia; brothers, Donnie B Mayer of Kennesaw Georgia, and Timothy Mayer of New Hampshire and sister, Kathleen A. Mayer of Castleton Vermont along with many nieces and nephews.
Benjamin graduated from Trussville Alabama high school in 1992 and Auburn University Alabama in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Forestry with a Zoology minor. In May 2010 Benjamin received a Degree in Elementary Special Education from Castleton State University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
Benjamin traveled extensively throughout many countries including Egypt, Germany, Italy, France and Israel with his favorite being Africa having a passion for Cape Town and fighting malaria, bringing mosquito nets for the children there.
Benjamin was a member of the Wildlife Society, the Sierra Club, Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society as communications coordinator and many others. He had a love for Disney Land and visited there often.
While in college he worked at McCormick and Schmick’s restaurant from 2000 to 2008 to pave his way through school and travels.
In his most recent years he resided here in Atlanta with his partner Mattison Hruda as an entrepreneur and business owner creating and customizing fans for his startup “Fans by Fondue”.
