Bert Agustin Tundidor, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and mentor, passed away on July 14, 2026. Born on August 28, 1952, in Matanzas, Cuba, to Teodoro Tundidor and Berta (Tarano) Tundidor, Bert migrated to the United States with his family on May 12, 1962, building a life defined by hard work, love, and dedication.
Bert graduated from Miami High School in 1971, after attending Horace Mann Junior High where he met his sweetheart, Grizzell Penichet. The two were married on November 24, 1972, and shared a beautiful life together. Bert pursued his passion for education and business, earning his associate degree from Miami Dade College in 1974, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami in 1976, and an MBA from St. Thomas University in 1991.
Bert spent nearly his entire career in banking and finance, where he was known for his professional acumen and his deep passion for mentoring colleagues. After retiring from finance, he turned his energy toward real estate, serving as a Managing Broker at Virtual Properties Realty in Duluth, Georgia. He spent countless hours helping families find their dream homes and guiding new agents to succeed.
Beyond his professional life, Bert was a dedicated friend and an "other dad" to so many who crossed his path. He had a gift for bringing people together, always ready with a funny anecdote from his past, a practical joke to keep everyone on their toes, and a warm presence that could light up an entire room.
Bert was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Laurie Krystene (d. 1976).
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Grizzell Penichet Tundidor; his three children, Victoria Tundidor Laburu (Christian M. Laburu), Alec Tundidor, and Daniel Tundidor (Lauren P. Tundidor); and his four grandchildren, Lillian McLeary, Nathan Eugene, Abigail Ruth, and Britton Charles, to whom he was a deeply devoted and adored "Pipo."
