Betty Garner Autry

Betty Garner Autry, age 90, of Stone Mountain passed away Wednesday May 23, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chick” Autry, father, William Dewey Garner and mother, MaeBell Garner. Betty was a homemaker and graduated from Stone Mountain High School. She is survived by her daughter Linda Carroll and husband Tim, Stone Mountain; and son, Gary Autry, Lawrenceville; sister, Mary Thompson and husband Mark, Dacula; grandchildren, Lori Tyson and husband Eric and David Autry, three great grandchildren, Heather, Caleb and Erica Tyson. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Rev. Eric Tyson officiating. Burial will follow at Stone Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 noon until time of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens’ Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
