Betty Jean Pattillo

Betty Pattillo went to be with her Lord Thursday, March 28, 2013. She was born in Atlanta, GA on September 5, 1930 and grew up in Decatur, GA. She was a proud graduate of Decatur Girls High. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin W. and Montine Merritt, and her brother, Marvin G. Merritt. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Gerald, of Lawrenceville, GA; sons, Jerry Beth Pattillo and Charles Pattillo; daughters, Linda Ben Sawyer and Leigh Pattillo Wilkinson; grandchildren, Scott Adrian Pattillo, Jeff Pattillo, Brian Taylor Pattillo, David Pattillo, Keri Brian Fosse, Andrew Karen Sawyer, Eric Sawyer, Molly Sawyer, Andrew Smith, Daniel Smith, Michael Smith; great grandchildren, Jackson Pattillo, William Pattillo, Tyler Pattillo, Levi Fosse. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Vera Merritt. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, April 1, 2013 at Lawrenceville First Baptist Church with Rev. Inman Houston and Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. Interment will follow at Decatur City Cemetery.
