Billie “Granny” Burke Smith, age 97, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 08, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Smith, Sr. and son, Tommy D. Smith. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Smith of Panama City, FL; son, Bobby Smith of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter, Rosa Probst and husband, Jack of Dacula, GA; daughter, Pamela Kruzdlo and husband, Alan of Calhoun, GA; Thirteen grandchildren; Twenty-One great grandchildren and Five great great grandchildren. She was a founding member of the Northwoods Baptist Church and a loving wife, mother and servant of God. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Gwinnett Memorial Park, 925 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA with Rev. John Hadley officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA, 770-277-4550.
