Bobby Patrick

Bobby Roger "Santa Claus" Patrick, age 78, of Stone Mountain, GA passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Sewell Patrick. He is survived by son, Michael T. Patrick, Sr. of Atlanta; grandsons, Michael T. Patrick, Jr. and Ryan C. Patrick both of Loganville; companion, Doris Marie St. Clair of Stone Mountain; sisters, Elizabeth Etheridge of Nashville, GA, Louise Blackwell of Jonesboro, and Peggy Ann Wilbanks of Decatur; former daughter-in-law, Karen Patrick of Loganville; several nieces and nephews. Bobby served in the U.S. Army, He was a retired Truck Driver with Pilot Freight Carriers, a Mason and member of Grant Park Lodge. His true love was being Santa to everyone he came into contact with. Over the years he served as Santa to Stone Mountain Village, Coca Cola, Gucci, Atlanta Motor Speedway, South DeKalb and Park Place Malls, and the Country Club of the South. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Dr. Dan Parker and Jim Payne officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
