Brenda Bond

Retired hospice nurse Brenda Bond passed away peacefully on March 14, 2022 at the age of 78. She was loved and visited by many family members in the weeks before her passing.

After testing out several career options in early adulthood, Brenda decided to return to school and become a nurse in order to help others. Always a kind and caring soul, she spent over 2 decades in nursing before retirement. Brenda loved to help people and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Even when separated by distance, she would spend hours on the phone keeping up with her loved ones and making sure everyone was doing well.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of many years Sgt Ernie Bond (USMC retired) and beloved canine companion Boo Boo. She is survived by a sister, Reba Garrett and a brother Ben Champion, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be missed.
