Brian Lauer

LAUER, Brian Patrick Brian Lauer, age 43 of Nashville TN, died Saturday, February 5, 2011. Brian was born, September 27, 1967 at Fairchild AFB, near Spokane, WA. He is survived by his parents, Keith and Dorothy Lauer of Stone Mountain, GA; four brothers: Dan wife Courtney from Houston TX; Tim wife Holly from Marietta GA; Michael from Stone Mountain, GA, and Christopher wife Katherine from Charlotte NC; 6 nieces, Olivia, Ryan and Cameron from Houston TX; Anne, Ava, and Sophia from Marietta GA; John Francis and Mary Genevieve from Charlotte, NC, and a child not yet born. He also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins living in GA, NY, FL, KS and OH. Brian attended Georgia College in Milledgeville and was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He worked for Geico Insurance for 14 years and more recently worked for a contractor. He dearly loved the people in his life; his family, and the many friends he met along the way. With great fondness, Brian enjoyed listening to stories about his nieces and nephews. Brian loved life and will be remembered always for his wonderful smile, his kindness toward others, and his ability to make friends so easily. Visitation will be at Wages and Son's Funeral Home, Stone Mountain, GA., Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m., and Friday from 11:00 a.m. till noon. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday February 11th at 1:00p.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 600 Mountain View Drive, Stone Mountain, GA 30083 Interment will take place at Melwood Cemetery, 5170 East Ponce De Leon Avenue, Stone Mountain, GA 30083 Memorials can be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church, or St Vincent de Paul Society.
